ABOUT THE ARTIST
My name is Matias (Mati) Turunen, I am a storyboard artist and animator who specializes in action sequences! I am based in New York City and currently studying for a BFA in Animation at the School of Visual Arts (SVA).
I have experience boarding and animating for multiple projects like the Quasar Trailer and my student film Heart Break Havoc. In my spare time I work with a team on my weekly comic Poly Emo Boys, which has been running for over a year now!
When I’m not being creative, you can find me at the gym or playing volleyball at Central Park!
